About Adrian Johnson

Hello. I'm Adrian Johnson, and I'm responsible for everything on this web site. I've been developing software and creating web sites since the 1990's, and I now run my own business.

The Story So Far
I grew up in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, and tinkered with computers either at school or when my parents bought a Spectrum 128k+2 in the 1980’s. When I completed my A-Levels in 1993, I went off to a college in Lincoln to start a Computing degree. My placement year was spent at a charity in Doncaster, where I developed a database system for them using Equinox (never seen or heard of Equinox since), and graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 1998. I also got married, to Mandy, in May 1999.

The World of Work
My career started in 1999 at a company called Direct Valuations in Nottingham. Besides working on the helpdesk, I was also given the opportunity to look after their in-house applications.

Since Direct Valuations, I had a stint at the Education Department in Nottinghamshire County Council, and then joined a small independent company in 2003. When I was made redundant, I decided that I would start my own business.
