Now that Virgin have bought Northern Rock (a failed UK bank), they’ve done an advert for tv. I like how the music starts with Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells (after all, that is how Virgin started) and ends with an excerpt from the soundtrack to Tron Legacy by Daft Punk. There are a couple of other things I like too:

• It ties a few of the Virgin brands together.
• It sweeps between sections effortlessly.
• There’s a comic twist at the end.
